Victoria and the development team has received a great amount of feedback from October 8's update, we've gathered 8 questions from it.

 

Q1: There are some tasks in Merc Manual that are difficult to complete, will they be optimized? 

A1: We have noticed this problem. In Oct. 20's update, we lowered the difficulty of some tasks. Meanwhile, we optimized Merc Manual's UI so that the ease of use is improved. 

 

Q2: Will the in-game team-up mechanism return?

A2: In early versions, we have tested that solo players could team up with another in a match. Although this is indeed an interesting mechanism, we've found that to some extent the match pace was disrupted. We haven't had this mechanism in the current version, but are considering a relaunch at a proper time when relative mechanism and in-game balance are further improved. 

 

Q3: Can you optimize FPS and MS performance? 

A3: We are persistently pushing the optimization work forward. This is a complicated and intractable problem, the team needs more time to ameliorate multiple aspects of the game. Please don't hesitate to send feedback to us, such as in what kind of scene or internet environment does the problem you meet occur, since more data would be helpful to us. We appreciate all of your valuable feedback. 

 

Q4: Can you nerf LMG and Hunting Bow? It seems that they are OP.

A4: We have noticed this situation and are collecting more data to evaluate the actual power of these to weapons in the match, please give us a bit more time. 

 

Q5: Can you reduce the times of reviving before a human Merc mutates to a zombie Merc? Now the game often ends before the first zombie Merc is born. 

A5: Previously, because of the fast pace of mutation, which was beyond our expectation, we increased the knockdown times to 6 before the mutation. The team will keep focusing on the experience of playing as Human and Zombie Merc under current mechanism and keep adjusting and optimizing according to the collected data.

 

Q6: Have you considered scattering the BCs over the map?

A6: The way of BC's spreadout and the number of it has changed several times. We are analyzing data and player experience under different spreading methods, and will continue to optimize the relevant mechanism. 

 

Q7: Will there be custom matches? 

A7: Currently we hope that Mercs could play against each other in random matchmaking matches. In the future, when the game and the number of players reach a certain scale, we may consider adding some custom features.

 

Q8: When will the night mode come? 

A8: The night mode is still intensely working in progress, please give us some time to run more adequate tests. When everything is ready, we will release the night mode as soon as possible.
